Industrial PhD-student; independent organisational coach and consultant; volunteer teamleader
Cand.mag in Pedagogy, Educational Studies and Psychology, Master in Social Entrepreneurship, Industrial Phd student at Roskilde Festival PhD: Sensemaking between values and results – Roskilde Festival as a transformative hybrid organisation
I have for many years worked as a facilitator and organisational consultant, the last couple of years with an increasing focus on leadership and management. This has now lead me to pursue an Industrial PhD with Roskilde Festival and Roskilde University.
The title of the PhD-project is “Sensemaking between values and results – Roskilde Festival as a transformative hybrid organisation”. The project will be based on action research, where I will be present with several levels of the festival’s management and will among other things look at how volunteers and employees handle changes they cannot necessarily see the meaning behind in a value driven organisation, which at the same time has to deliver results in a very competitive business environment. This focus is relevant for Roskilde Festival, as well as most NGOs and many public organisations, and a growing number of private organisations where a focus on values is becoming more and more important.
