  Hello!

I am an Experienced researcher at the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises (Euricse), where I investigate the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of cooperatives.

My passion and research interests lie in environmental economics, with most of my research activity covering policy-relevant topics such as Emissions Trading Systems (ETS), adaptation and maladaptation, and water saving technologies. My broader interests include narrative dynamics in social groups and social identity construction.

Most importantly, I am the proud dad of two girls.

Personal Information
I am currently an experienced researcher at Euricse – the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises – where I conduct economic analyses of cooperatives and investigate the adoption of innovative practices and technologies supporting the twin (ecological and digital) transitions.

I hold a Ph.D. in Development Economics and Local Systems from the Universities of Trento and Florence, awarded in 2019. My doctoral research explored the impacts of climate change on inequality and international trade.

From 2021 to 2024, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Trento, where I focused on energy consumption and water-saving technologies in agriculture. Prior to that, between 2019 and 2021, I worked on research and policy evaluation related to European climate policy at the University of Siena and the European University Institute.
