I’m Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Economics, University of Bologna, and coordinator of the academic master on Social Economy promoted by the University of Bologna, Forlì Campus. I’m also Associate Professor at the School of Corporate Governance, Public government area, L. Bocconi University, Milan and Director of the Master on Management of social enterprises, nonprofit and co-operative enterprises. I teach “Fund Raising”, “Fundamentals in healthcare management”, “Management of Social and Co-operatives Enterprises”.

My research interests include studies on nonprofit organizations, co-operative and social enterprises, management, governance and accountability of nonprofit organizations, relationship between nonprofit organizations, public sector and market. I have a PhD in “Business economics and Public Sector”.

I have published various articles and book chapters and edited books in Italian on the topics of social economy, management of social enterprises and cooperative firms.
