Danijel Baturina is an academic and doer with a passion for social impact. He is PhD and associate professor at the Department for Social Policy at the Faculty of Law, the University of Zagreb. His scientific interests include the third sector, social policy, social entrepreneurship, and social innovations. He has published more than 50 scientific articles, book chapters and books. He participated in domestic and international projects (Horizon, Erasmus +, Interreg, FP7, ESF, COST…) and presented his work in the numerous domestic and international conferences. He was awarded the Croatian National Science Award for the year 2021 in the category of young scientists. “for an exceptional contribution to analysis and development of the topic of social entrepreneurship” He is a managing editor of the Croatian Journal of Social Policy
